By raising taxes doesn’t mean that prices will raise, if its a competitive market the producer doesn’t control the price, and right now oil is a very competitive market. Long term goal should be to cut taxes and rely on compitition but right now this country needs help.People got freedom and broke the rules, we always need some regulation.

Both candidates need to be confidant and hold that presense about themselfs. Its 10 mins of 11 and Obama needs only 63 more electoral votes its been interesting to watch so far.

This issue is very complex and can’t be blamed on one person or party. The Clinton adminastration had the longest economic growth in US history. It ridiculous to blame this on him when he hasn’t had any power in over eight years.

Nothing is over until its final and even with the polls Obama can’t feel safe. If Obama doesn’t win then its going to be interesting to see what happening to the usage of polls in the future.

This was a good aritcle but i dont beleive anyone has to worry about a draft and they wouldn’t include women in a draft. I disagree with ashley with men being corupt, i believe wars happen based on differences in beliefs and power.

I can agree with you guys about the convience of voting over a longer period of time instead of just one day, yet it would delay the election and maybe even allow more opportunities for people to commit voter fraud. Both sides could agrue this.

It is important that these candidates focus on the country’s needs. Frankly, I am glad that today is election day; its a relief that the candidates won’t be attacking eachother anymore. Furthermore, our country needs to come together and produce a possible plan to resolve this crisis.

I think that it is important to note that not only is President Bush not alltogether responsible for our crisis but Bill Clinton’s administration is equally responsible. Why has this country succomed to the use of an escape goat to shoulder their problems and responsibilities. We need to grow up and be accountable for our actions, whether they are passive or active.
